Timothy Margush

Timothy Margush, Ph.D., (Margush@uakron.edu) has been teaching computer science courses for twenty-two years, incorporating web-based support for classroom-based instruction. During the 2000-2001 academic year, he has endeavored to apply this experience to course development using the asynchronous learning model. While on sabbatical, he developed three online courses for Nova Southeastern University’s undergraduate computer science program using the WebCT platform. One of the courses, an Introduction to Programming (using C++), was field-tested during winter 2001.
